Requirements;
-WV Firefighter Level 1
-Minimum of 2 years experience in the fire service is mandatory
Duties;
-Preside and officiate in the absence of the Chief, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief, Captain, and Rescue Captain. Seniority of Fire Lieutenants shall be determined by time in the fire service
-Maintain and inspect equipment as assigned by the Captain. They shall report to the Captain of their inspections
-Maintain the fire station in an orderly manner to insure the safety and well-being of those who use or visit the fire station
-The Lieutenant will perform other duties as directed by the Chief
