Overview of Fire Service at CVFD
The Fire and Rescue side of the CVFD has many different tasks and roles that are required on most calls to keep things running smoothly. Being a Firefighter isn't just running into a burning building! Our Fire members are trained in various other forms of rescue and specialty skills needed to perform our duties. Our members are trained in specialties such as Rope Rescue, Confined Space, Hazardous Materials, and the list goes on. We currently operate 3 stations across our district to keep response times to a minimum when it matters most.
