Emergency Medical Services

Our Mission.......

Our mission is to provide fire, rescue and emergency medical services to persons in need.  Additionally we will serve as a leadership model to the community, providing needed ancillary services to our neighbors.

Our crews are ready twenty-four hours a day to respond to your assistance.

Overview of the Emergency Medical Services Program

The Ceredo Volunteer Fire Department operates an ALS (Advanced Life Support) level paid service in an effort to improve the delivery of emergency medical services to our district.  Our goal is to provide ALS care to any person desiring assistance twenty-four hours a day.

The EMS program falls under the direction of the EMS Director (Clinton Burley) and Operations Manager (Darryl Harris) who are appointed by the Chief (Johnny Robertson II).  They are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the service and report directly to the Chief.

Persons desiring to cover shifts with the EMS program must understand that they do so as contract laborers.  They are contracting with the Ceredo VFD to provide EMS coverage during the hours that they are scheduled to be on duty.  Our shifts include Day Shift (0800hrs till 2000hrs) and Night Shift (2000hrs till 0800hrs).
