Fire Cadet
Job Description
Any person sixteen or seventeen years of age, a resident of Ceredo, WV, unless otherwise approved by the membership, of sober and good moral character, in good physical health, and maintaining satisfactory academic standing, is eligible for fire cadet membership in this organization. Cadets are allowed to participate in all fire department functions and take all training however in the state of West Virginia they are not permitted to participate in structural firefighting until they are above the age of 18. At Ceredo we limit our fire cadets to 5 at a time.
